The BWC Family Network (BWC FN) organises regular meetings, events and activities throughout the year for BWC members and their families, including weekly Toddler Swimming sessions at the British Embassy, an active 0-5 Toddler Group and special events during weekends and school holidays for the older age groups.
Information on all events including the monthly Mums' Nights Out and the annual Summer and Christmas Parties is sent by email to all FN members. 

The "Children in Moscow" guide is available online at: www.childreninmoscow.ru. This is a comprehensive source of information for families living in Moscow (including a Calendar of Events). Registration is free.

The BWC Toddler Swimming sessions for parents and children aged 0-5 are also organised by the FN. These unstructured sessions are held every Thursday morning from 10-12 (excl. public holidays and some school holidays; closure dates are determined by the Embassy) at the British Embassy pool (an insurance fee of 1,000 roubles per family applies). If you would like to join this group, please pay the insurance fee and complete the Toddler Swimming form at the next meeting (places are limited). You will then receive an email confirming when you may start swimming, with full information on using the pool. These sessions usually run from August/September to May/June, as determined by the Embassy.

The Mother & Toddler Playgroup is being re-organised. Please contact Chloe at the FN email address if you wish to join this group.

(Note: one of our BWC FN members, Ively, runs an international Music Group that meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday morning of the month, open to both BWC members and non-members. Please contact Ively directly at ively@hotmail.com if you wish to join this group.) 

Please contact Chloe or one of the other FN coordinators if you would like to organise a special family-friendly event. Previous activities have included weekend brunches, bowling, outdoor sports days, summer beach picnics etc.

The monthly Mums' Nights Out are usually held on the Thursday following the monthly Embassy meeting, at 8pm. Dads are invited to join us occasionally (during the quieter summer months and in January).

An email will be sent to all FN members with information on the next Night Out; please reply to Chloe if you are able to attend.

This year's Christmas Party was organised by Chloe and held at Correa's. The BWC and FN would like to thank Chloe for organising such an enjoyable party, which included a live jazz band, puppet show and a visit from Father Christmas. Thanks are extended to Susanne and Harriet for helping on the door, Correa's for hosting the party again, Sara from Busy Bees for providing the children's toys and the following for their generous gifts for the Surprise Mums' Raffle: Divas, Estee Lauder, Lensmaster, Nivea and US Dental Care.
