The BWC Family Network (BWC FN) organises regular meetings, events and activities throughout the year for BWC members and their families. Information is sent by email to BWC FN members including the monthly Mums' Nights Out, annual Christmas Party, "nanny available" notices and other valuable information.

The "Children in Moscow" guide is available online at: www.childreninmoscow.ru. This is a comprehensive source of family-friendly information for families visiting or living in Moscow (now with an interactive map).  

Our Coordinator can asisst newcomers in finding a group that suits their needs and their childrens' age groups. Some groups are run by BWC members and others by various organizations in Mosocw. Please contact us if your are interested in meeting up with other mothers who have children of similar ages.

An ice skating group meets on Sunday mornings during the winter months at the indoor rink in the Evropeisky Shopping Center (Kievakaya metro station). This is a social group for skaters of all levels. We usually skate for an hour and then meet for lunch in the food court within the mall. Please email bwcfamnet@gmail.com for more information.

Please contact any of the FN coordinators if you would like to organise a special family-friendly event or activity. Previous events have included weekend brunches, bowling, outdoor sports days, summer beach picnics etc.

The monthly Mums' Nights Out are usually held on the Thursday following the monthly Embassy meeting, at 8pm. Dads are invited to join us occasionally (during the quieter summer months and in January).

The popular annual BWC FN Christmas Party is usually held during the first weekend of December. An invitation will be sent to all BWC FN members with full information and tickets will be on sale from November. Places are limited so RSVP early to avoid disappointment!

Art Studio on Petrovka: art classes in English for children aged 3-6 years old on an "Art and Storytelling" theme from 10:30-11:45. Please see the website at http://www.petrovka-art-studio.com/

Active Kids: new group for English-speaking children aged 7-12 years old, providing fun activity and friendship aligned to Baden Powell's principles (Boy Scouts and Girl Guides). To join, please contact Lucy at activekidsmoscow@gmail.com.

Play Time Group: Bee-Baa-Boo, 2A 1-aya Brorodinskaya (M. Kievskaya). Dance, music, nursery rhymes, creativity and having fun! Groups led by native English speaker. Children aged 1-2 years old must be accompanied by an adult; older children may be left unaccompanied. Groups on Tuesdays 15:00-16:30, 17:00-18:30 and Thursdays 14:00-17:30, 16:00-17:30.
